There's Paint Effects and There's This
This is the second place in a week that I have discovered in Isle sur la Sorgue in the South of France (see the other one here). I stumbled across Aurélie Alvarez at the wonderful Gypsy Purple's blog. Now I could happily live in this amazing showroom come workshop where they create fantastical wallpapers, murals, screens and totally mind blowing walls.

Jacques Of All Trades
I assure you that you will feel totally inadequate after you have read this. This French woman creates fabulous miniature houses,
all the little details that go into them,
paints the flowers in her garden in watercolours,
creates fabulous art with crayons,
does beautiful portraits,
makes superb decorative boxes,
creates quirky tromp l'eoil and of course
has a fabulous home.

Pedlars Castle
A while back I received a catalogue from Pedlars and some of the images where taken in their own Castle in Scotland - Balbegno. I loved the look of it and was thrilled today to receive an email informing me that you can actually rent the Castle for parties of up to 13. I love that it's full of their own products.

Sit back and enjoy these fabulous interiors, exteriors and even antiques for sale at this amazing shop in Isle sur la Sorgue in the South of France. I have been there but never visited Xavier Nicod but certainly will when I next visit.
Go and look at even more by flicking through his antique books
Take a Closer Look
Love these simple chairs by Resign in Italy but
if you look closer you will see that
The numbers are painted. Beautiful.
